The Oaks wedding packages include everything you need for the set up of your wedding including tables, chairs, linens & use of any decor we have on site. Couples may use the property for rehearsal, meetings with vendors, photo shoots & have the option to host a rehearsal & rehearsal dinner on the property. Every package also includes The Oaks day-of coordinator & staff to help with set up, decorating & clean up making your wedding day stress free!

Our expansive event house offers a comfortable, inviting space to spend the day of your wedding. Guests may also enjoy limited lodging available in the property's event house complete with bridal suite, 3 bedrooms, 2 sitting areas with fireplaces, billiards room, & breathtaking view of the property's 4 acre lake. The ceremony area located directly behind the event house features a gorgeous gazebo with natural wood ceilings & a picturesque view of the lake. Our 4,000 sq/ft pavilion which also has gorgeous views of the lake, is the perfect space to celebrate with the ones you love with plenty of space for everything you need to make your day magical. The pavilion features polished cement floors & enchanting lighting inside & out, is a fully enclosed space with heating & air so your guests are comfortable year-round. With wooded area to the back, rolling fields to the side, & a gorgeous view of the property's 4 acre lake to the front, this space is sure to please anyone's tastes. It is the perfect space for any event!
The Oaks offers several packages to fit your needs. Our day package includes everything for the set up of you wedding & our all inclusive option includes budgets for extra services like cake, flowers & DJ to make budgeting & planning even easier. Wedding packages are offered at a $500 discount for Sunday through Thursday dates, & receive a $500 discount for off-season dates (December through mid-March) .
Looking for options to have a ceremony only or reception only on the property? Or maybe you are celebrating a milestone & need a place to party? We have you covered too! We offer trimmed down packages for any celebration. These smaller packages are available to book Sunday through Thursday dates during wedding season (mid-March through November), or any available date during off-season.

The Oaks Events Outdoor Wedding Venue located in Midland, NC is owned and operated by Michele Boyd. The Oaks staff and I put our hearts and souls into making The Oaks a great place to hold outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions since opening in 2012. We work hand in hand with our clients to make their event truly special and stress free!
Hello All! My name is Michele and I am owner of The Oaks Events! I have two children, a boy AJ, and girl, Jordan. My husband Aaron has been such a big help since we've started The Oaks and I'm sure he loves me for taking up so much of his free time to help out! He does it without complaint and I love him for it!
I've become quite the handy-lady since we've started The Oaks - building benches, tables, frames, and signs for the event house, helping to improve the event house and property (I even laid pavers for the stair case to the gazebo!), and creating new and exciting ways to make The Oaks stand out. I have truly enjoyed watching the business grow and can't wait to see what the future holds! We love what we do and couldn't ask for more!
